October's Cake of the Month collab with The Brooklyn Brewery is here to get you ready for fall. Pumpkin spice cake layers are filled with gooey chocolate stout caramel and topped with stout caramel buttercream. Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout adds rich malty flavor to this limited edition seasonal cake.

    • Each cake is 6” and serves 8-10 people.
    • Sample flavors include: Campfire Cake, Strawberry Basil ShortCake, Peppermint Patty Cake, Chocolate Banana Tahini Cake
    • The recipient of the cake will receive their first order the month following the purchase of the subscription or one time purchase (i.e if you place an order in June, your first cake will be the July cake).
    • Our cakes are perishable! It is very important that you or the recipient knows when to expect their package. Please read our FAQs for expected delivery dates.

    When will my cake ship out?

    All of our Cake of the Month orders will ship the fourth week of the month and you will receive shipping confirmations along with tracking numbers via email. Delivery dates are subject to change around the holiday season. 

    How do I store my cake once it arrives?

    When you receive the cake it can be stored in the refrigerator and then pulled out at least two hours prior to serving at room temperature. Just leave it on the counter, not in direct sunlight. Want to enjoy it later? Cakes can be frozen for up to 2 months and pulled out at least 8 hours in advance of serving.

    What if I’m not home when my cake is expected to arrive?

    Your cake can be left out in its shipping box for up to 24 hours (weather permitting!) If you will not be home the day your delivery is expected, we recommend asking a friend to store the cake for you. We cannot modify the monthly delivery dates.

    How do I cancel my subscription and can I get a refund for the cakes I didn’t yet receive?

    To cancel your subscription, please email We require 14 days notice from the delivery date for a full refund. We are unable to refund any cancelations made after the cut off date.

    Can I change the mailing address each month? 

    Yes! You can email with the updated address. All changes must be updated 14-days in advance of the delivery date. 

    Can I customize my subscription so that I receive cakes every other month?

    If you choose to subscribe, your subscription will be effective immediately and we are unable to mix and match months.

    How will I know what cake flavor I’m receiving?

    You will receive an email before your delivery with details about the cake of the month. Each Cake of the Month flavor features never-before-seen or tasted flavors.

    Can I substitute another flavor, customize my cake, or add writing?

    We do not offer customization or substitutions. You are able to add a gift note to your order on the product page.

    Do you offer corporate gifting?

    Yes! Send us an email at if you’d like to gift our Cake of the Month Club to more than 5 people.

    Can I add other treats to my subscription?

    Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?

    At this time we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

  • Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

    We cannot accommodate substitutions for Cake of the Month Club and we do not list ingredients ahead of time. If you receive a cake and you have dietary restrictions or allergies, you can freeze the cake to bring to a celebration or share with others. We are not a nut-free or certified gluten-free bakery, but we take the utmost care in cleaning our equipment and keeping ingredients separate from one another. That said, if you have a severe allergy, we recommend not consuming our products.

  • Storage & Shipping Details

    All of our cakes are made-to-order and promptly frozen. Although each box is carefully packed with ice packs and picked up for immediate shipment, it is normal for the cake and ice packs to partially or fully thaw during shipment. Upon receipt, please refrigerate or place in the freezer. Your cake will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. If you wish to preserve your cake for longer and/or want to serve it at future celebration, store it in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Good not great

The ratio of super thick sweet icing to fig filling was not my favorite.


Incredible cake. It would have bfilling! better with less icing, and more fig filling! Either way, more fig next time!

It was the Cassis cake received, it was delicious and I shared with a neighbor, the Mother/grandmother is having surgery on hand, she was walking with her coffee cup, fell, cup crashed & cut her hand, serious stuff, dinner is helping with the pain and especially the beautiful cake.

Damaged and dried out

The cake arrived pretty badly damaged and dried out....
We followed the instructions on reveipt...
Can't necessarily blame Ovenly, but will limit purchases to onsite in Village in future...
